DESCRIPTION
970 Denny (also known as the Kiara Building) is the first skyscraper to be built in the South Lake Union neighborhood and is one of only a handful that are outside Downtown Seattle limits. The 45-story building, designed by Weber Thompson, includes a custom glass canopy located on the 41st floor terrace. The canopy itself extends over the roof ledge, which meant our crews were hanging over 400’ above the ground when installing. Once back on the ground, our crews also installed the beautiful canopies that encompass the retail levels of the Kiara Building.
