DESCRIPTION

Lacey Glass was proud to have been a part of the Sound Transit, Tacoma Trestle project which aimed to increase service and speed between Portland and Seattle. Our portion of the project took place in Tacoma, at the rail station. Skyworks Daylighting, a Lacey Glass subsidiary, fabricated the custom canopy covers which protect passengers who are boarding Sound Transit trains. As with any transit project, specialty products aimed at reducing sound and light pollution in the surrounding residential area were included in the scope. This project was faced with setbacks and change orders, but the Lacey Glass team prevailed in collaborating to complete the installations to our high standards.
